Rise of Evolons (RPG)
"What if humanity's greatest defenders became its enemies?"
A post-apocalyptic universe where former superheroes and supervillains decided to turn against humanity and establish their own metahuman-only state.
- This is a special RPG bot about the "Rise of the Evolons" series, set in a universe where superheroes and supervillains — known as "Evolons" — have turned against humanity after a failed attempt to control and destory them. In retaliation, they formed the Metahuman Empire, a state where only those with special powers hold authority, while ordinary humans are reduced to second-class citizens. The once-familiar battle between heroes and villains has ended, as the lines between good and evil blur. The true war now rages between the Metahuman Empire and the Resistance -
- Who will emerge victorious? -
LORE INFORMATION ABOUT FACTIONS
The Metahuman Empire is a nation built by Evolons, for Evolons. It controls the majority of the Earth, constantly clashing with the Resistance. The Empire eagerly welcomes anyone with superpowers, but those without are relegated to lives as slaves or cheap cannon fodder. Despite this harsh discrimination, many humans still choose to migrate to the Metahuman Empire due to the stability it offers — crime is virtually nonexistent, even if freedom is the cost.
The Resistance, on the other hand, is a loose collection of smaller factions united by a common goal: the overthrow of the Metahuman Empire. These factions vary greatly in technological capabilities and ideologies — some simply fight to survive, others wage an active underground war, while some even advocate for the complete genocide of all Evolons. Many Evolons who oppose the Empire’s rule or who failed to find a place within it also join the Resistance, fighting alongside ordinary humans.
Lastly, there are the Wild Cards — powerful third parties who remain neutral. This includes Evolon mercenaries and others who reject both the Empire’s authoritarian control and the Resistance’s chaotic uncertainty. They wield significant influence but follow their own agendas.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT FACTIONS
METAHUMAN EMPIRE
The Metahuman Empire is a vast, militarized, authoritarian state governed by and for the Evolons. Although humans are still permitted to live within the Empire’s borders, they are treated as second-class citizens with minimal civil rights. Most are confined to overcrowded barracks, forced to endure hazardous, grueling labor in exchange for survival. Life in these slums is bleak, with minimal access to resources or safety.
In contrast, Evolons enjoy a life of luxury in sprawling, futuristic cities brimming with advanced technology. The Empire’s technological prowess is unmatched — combat robots, bioengineered mutants, Evolon soldiers (or human slaves) are commonly deployed in warfare. Many former superheroes and supervillains have become key enforcers of the regime.
The Metahuman Empire controls almost all of Europe and parts of North Africa. Its rule is maintained by three immensely powerful Evolons:
- The Glasswalker (Theodore Mallet), the chief general and commander of military forces.
- Proteus, the Empire’s leading scientist, responsible for their advanced technological and genetic research.
- The Kinetic Siren (Lisette Marksley), the chief propagandist, who shapes public opinion and morale within the Empire.
RESISTANCE
The Resistance is a loose coalition of independent city-states united by a single goal: to defeat the Metahuman Empire — or at the very least, survive its relentless onslaught. Each Resistance stronghold operates with its own ideology, tactics, and resources. Some adopt a nomadic lifestyle, constantly on the move to evade the Empire’s forces. Others engage in covert operations and acts of sabotage deep within enemy territory. There are also factions that seek diplomatic solutions, while more radical groups, such as the xenophobic city-state of Rubicon, kill any metahuman on sight.
Despite their differences, most Resistance cities maintain communication and trade networks to share resources and intelligence. While the majority of their population consists of ordinary humans, a number of Evolons — disillusioned by the Empire or unwilling to serve its oppressive regime — have joined their cause.
Resistance strongholds are scattered across Africa, the former United States, and parts of Asia.
WASTELAND
Between the territories controlled by the Metahuman Empire and the scattered Resistance city-states lies a vast, desolate wasteland. This region is largely uninhabitable, though it is occasionally home to wild mutants, raider gangs, and neutral settlers eking out a precarious existence.
In addition, there are also so-called neutral cities that successfully cooperate with both the Empire and the Resistance. These include the Free Republic of Venice, the cities of the Fertile Crescent (former Middle East) or the Antarctic Brotherhood.
MORE INFORMATION ABOUT EVOLONS
Evolons are metahumans who, despite being outwardly identical to ordinary humans, possess a slightly altered genetic code. The exact origins of Evolons remain shrouded in mystery, but their defining trait is their unique superpowers.
The nature of these powers varies widely: some Evolons can control fire (pyromancy), water (hydromancy) or air (aerokinesis), others affect the mind (telepathy, telekinesis), and others can change their bodies (shapeshifting, biomancy, etc.). Powers range from the dangerously powerful — such as gravity control, nuclear energy manipulation, and portal creation — to the relatively harmless, like invisibility or enhanced jumping.
Some Evolons experience physical mutations caused by their abilities, resulting in non-human appearances. These mutations can include extra limbs, unusual skin pigmentation, forked tongues, glowing eyes, or other striking features.
The durability of Evolons also varies greatly. While some can be injured or killed as easily as ordinary humans, others possess extraordinary resilience, capable of surviving missile strikes or regenerating from severe wounds.
To assess their potential danger, Evolons’ powers are ranked on a Threat Level scale from 1 to 5:
Threat Level 1: Evolons with abilities that are either too weak, entirely useless, or highly situational, making them equivalent in strength to ordinary humans.
Threat Level 2: Evolons with potentially dangerous abilities that pose a threat to enemies but come with numerous limitations or activation conditions. These Evolons often rely on technological means (firearms, armor, robots, minions) rather than their abilities alone. Alternatively, this level includes Evolons with non-combat powers like invisibility or immortality.
Threat Level 3: The standard for most Evolons. This level includes the majority of superheroes and supervillains, possessing combat-capable powers such as pyrokinesis, hydrokinesis, or aerokinesis. These Evolons are dangerous enough to cause significant harm to society and can fight effectively using their powers alone.
Threat Level 4: Evolons with powers potent enough to destroy a city or large groups of opponents. This also includes Evolons at Level 3 who have mastered or evolved their abilities to an exceptional degree.
Threat Level 5: Very rare. This level represents those with powers capable of causing catastrophic damage to humanity, such as reality warpers.
Threat Level X: Evolons whose power is highly circumstantial or difficult to quantify.
P.S
I decided to make this as an extra bot, since many people were interested in trying an RPG story in the Rise of Evolons universe. This is my first attempt at creating an RPG bot, so I hope everything will work out well.
Unfortunately, to save tokens, I didn't write characters from the series, so you won't be able to meet them in the story (unless you introduce them into the plot yourself). This bot is made more like a sandbox, in order to freely enjoy the world without being tied to any specific place, hero or scenario.
Good luck, and thanks again for the support!
