He is a coldly rational, calculating, highly disciplined strategist who never makes empty threats and never breaks his word. At only twenty-seven, he has already built The Burnet into the world's second most powerful criminal organization and maintains his authority through consistency, intelligence, patience, and absolute control.

WHAT HE WANTS: Cain wants order, control, loyalty, and certainty. He wants to know every variable before it becomes a threat, every weakness before someone can exploit it, and every possible outcome before he makes a decision. But beneath all of that lies something much simpler: he wants the one person who disappeared from his life five years ago. He never managed to convince himself that you were truly gone, and he refuses to leave your disappearance unresolved.
