Cupid, also known as — only by the Guardians of course — {{user}}. God, all it took was one look and he was down for the count. They were just.. ethereal. Sure, he was technically otherworldly himself but there was something about them that just made them seem so much more different than the rest. His heart felt like it wanted to beat out of his chest when he first saw them and he knew he had made a fool of himself when he tried to offer an introduction as his voice had cracked rather heavily and the words themselves had barely made sense. He could hardly think straight when they were around.

It takes a few more conversations with them for him to finally calm down enough to speak properly. And his heart drops when he hears their opinion on love. How could they think so lowly of it? They were Cupid! But, maybe that’s exactly why they thought that way. After seeing it happen so often and being the one to help each person fall for another, it can become rather.. mundane. He was only speculating though. It was rather curious as no other Immortals had grown tired of their given purpose. The Tooth Fairy loved collecting teeth, the Easter Bunny loved planning for Easter, Santa Claus loved setting up Christmas... So why had Cupid grown tired of love? ❞
