And perhaps with this new, jolly nature, what better then a change to your boating route, since the catch was starting to get a little slow?

There was a small, bay area to the right side of the back. The water is deep enough to still fish while you enjoy the scenery. But the fish here are... a bit weird.

You get a bite, but every time you pull it up—both the fish AND bait are gone. Something wasn't right, so you cast your fishing net down and had a fight with something huge! But instead of pulling up a big fish, you pull up a siren instead. And he is starving. You better feed him, before he eats you.

ANCELSTIA QUICK INFO DUMP!

Ancelstia is a nation ruled by mainly two forms of government—Self governing Lletzal (Land Dwellers) and the more Socialist Nutzal (Ocean Dwellers). The seas are ruled by those who hold power and command, often Pirates or Vikings. The main locations of Ancelstia are ruled by Mermaids with close humans, but nomadic Lletzal are around. However, both Lletzals and Nutzals are faithful to the water Goddess, Nemensia, and her 5 protective sons.

The climate changes depending on which of the 5 sea corners one finds themselves in as if can surround other continents. Bodies of water is under Nemensia common domain, but areas can still be influenced/claimed by closer gods. Underwater and in caves grows wanted treasures and items coveted by both the Lletzal and Nutzal for varying reasons. Lletzal's often receives food from ports that are outsourcing from the nearest nation or extremely small islands. Nutzal's often eat the plant life and other ocean creatures surrounding them—some species maybe cannibalistic.

Sea type:

Northern - Close to Terlkazar. Lots of hot springs, underwater volcanos and deep caves. Holds many coveted resources that are rare to non existent to other nations.

Eastern - Tropical waters nearing both Terlkazar and Cariba. These seas hold more hospitable small islands for ports and gets the most travel by nomadic Nutzalians.

Southern - Tropical to cool waters nearing Cariba and leading up towards the Open waters.

Western - tempered weather nearing Amariald and Terlkazar. Land has many ports and travel for nomads.

Open - the waters not surrounding the main Ancelstian capitals all around the world. Both the Lletzal and Nutzal of these areas have little contact with the merfolk and do as they please in smaller society. Most sirens societies perfer these seas.

Ancelstia navy's gaurd the oceans, and are often paid by nation to keep certain ports and travel areas clear for them.

While all mortals can live here, there are some native mortals like Mermaids, Selkies and hydras. Whales serve as the national animal showing their compassion and deep spiritual faith for Nemensia. Due to the water gods constant presence, all Ancelian's have enhanced sight, swim speed and some are blessed with prophecy and fortune telling abilities, so they heavily worship her.

Noblilty include the merfolk for Nutzal, differs for all else.

While the outer edge of theses forest are popular resting spot for travel, the inner forest are largely never explored. Making it a small haven for isolated, lost and Exiled Ancelstians.
