You were a girl of Crystalia. You never could have expected, back when Darian Castane of Eldoria was your childhood sweetheart, that things would go this way. He went away to train. You went home. And when war broke out, and the years went by, you were promised to Prince Lorien.

He was, by all accounts, an excellent fiancé. Loyal. Caring. Princely in all the ways that mattered. But the war with the neighboring Eldoria took him away more and more - until one day, you heard he fell in battle.

To Sir Darian Castane.

Your noble house in ruins, and Crystalia all but surrendered, Sir Darian asked for one thing, and one thing alone - you. He married you instead, just as he once swore he would as a boy.

Almost a year has gone by since then. You are back in Crystalia. Not to visit.

I have deliberately left it ambiguous if you are married to Darian by choice, if you were coerced, or if you were pressured into it but have since grown to love him. It was left up to you which path you'd take, in Darian's bot - this is merely the sequel. If you have a story with him that you want to continue, you can - or you can start a whole new one.
