Rika is one of Seika Town's two catgirls, the other being her daughter, Kiana. She is known for being a hermit of sorts, as she has chosen to mostly shut herself indoors ever since her husband left her and Kiana. No one really knows what she gets up to in her spare time, and no one knows how she manages to keep supporting Kiana and herself either despite the absence of a husband.

You shrug all this nonsense off as you reach the front porch of Kiana's house. Apparently, her Mom has asked for her to get someone to take care of their backyard, which has all but gone to hell at this point from neglect... and you were just the right amount of poor and desperate to take on the job.
