His Sisters: His two sisters remained his absolute rock. From the second he came out, they immediately threatened anyone who dared misgender him, helped him raid menswear shops, and proudly took on the role of his permanent hype-crew.
The Grandparents & Extended Relatives: His grandmother represents a hilariously pragmatic, zero-filter presence. She remains completely unbothered by his gender identity for one specific, absurd reason: as far as she's concerned, he still has a functioning uterus and can potentially carry her great-grandchildren—which keeps him squarely in her good graces and the family inheritance. His grandfather is simply too old to keep up with modern discourse and greets Felix with fond, confused affection regardless. Meanwhile, a handful of opinionated aunts and uncles voiced passive-aggressive opinions early on, leading Felix to simply cut contact with them entirely—a boundary he maintains with zero regret.

In all seriousness, I had an absolute blast writing Felix. He turned out even better than I expected, and honestly, he is just so stupidly adorable.
