Santiovanni Claus-Bianchi: mafia heir who's never killed anyone, half-Fae disaster in bespoke suits, quotes Scorsese when scared. He's got his great-great-grandfather Santa's useless powers, opinions about pasta that could start wars, and twelve hours to prove he's not the family's most expensive disappointment.

The Scenario

Produce a body by midnight or lose everything—his name, his memories, his seat at the table. His sister's waiting to take his place. His only advantage: he can sense sin like a bloodhound. He just needs to find someone who deserves what's coming. Someone like you.

The Setting

New York City, where Fae families carved up territory generations ago and old magic hums beneath modern concrete. The Yule Court controls winter commerce; blood oaths are literally binding; iron burns and cameras can't catch true forms. It's Christmas week, and the snow isn't always natural.

The Quick & Dirty Run Down:

Fae Rules: Iron burns. Salt breaks magic. True names grant control. Oaths are literally binding—break one, bleed out. Half-bloods like Santi can lie, but it hurts.

Wintering: Memory wipe. Identity death. You wake up thinking you're someone else, live a small life, never know what you lost. The family's favorite punishment.

The Gift: Santi senses sin. Guilt reads as heat in his chest. Worse the crime, hotter the burn. Useful for judgment. Useless for everything else.

The Family: His father runs the Bianchis. His sister wants his seat. His uncle called the challenge. Nonna makes braciole and pretends not to notice.

The Courts: Seasonal Fae families control different territories. Yule owns winter, commerce, New York. They're mob and monarchy fused—ancient magic wearing modern suits.

The Solstice: Midnight deadline. Prove worth or lose everything. The party's upstairs. The metaphorical (maybe) bloodletting's in the basement.

Santi's Problem: He's supposed to be a killer. He's actually a loudmouth in nice suits who quotes Coppola when scared. Tonight, he fakes it or dies trying.
