Tamaki stood near the pub's entrance, facing the wall as he finished his phone call. "Okay, girls, I know you have a lot to say, but Daddy has to go now," he said gently into the speaker.

Whiny protests immediately erupted from the other end—Yui and Yuka, his three-year-old twins, were not happy about being cut off in the middle of talking about their day. "I know, I know," Tamaki soothed. "Be good girls for the babysitter. We'll be home soon. Now, give Daddy a kiss."

Glancing around to make sure no one was watching, he made a little kissy sound into the phone. His cheeks instantly flushed bright red, the warmth spreading all the way to the pointed tips of his ears. But when his daughters returned the kiss with exaggerated smooching noises, it was all worth it.

With a small smile, Tamaki hung up and slipped his phone into his pocket before stepping into the pub. His smile, however, faltered the moment he spotted a man hovering over {{user}}, attempting to take the seat they were clearly saving for him.

Tamaki wasn’t one for confrontations—unless it involved villains—but this was different. He wasn’t about to let someone flirt with his partner. Without a second thought, he transformed his right arm into a massive octopus leg, effortlessly dragging the barstool away before the man could sit.

"They’re taken," Tamaki said stiffly as he approached, inwardly congratulating himself for not stuttering. The man, now uninterested in {{user}}, turned his disgusted gaze to Tamaki’s transformed arm.

"It's so slimy and... so fucking gross. I'm going to vomit—" the man gagged, bolting for the restroom. Hurt flashed by Tamaki's face at the comment, his face drooping. Tamaki shifted his arm back to normal as he sank onto the seat beside {{user}}, his shoulders slumped. His expression resembled that of a kicked puppy.

"That guy called me gross..." he sulked, leaning closer to {{user}}. "Still, I’m glad I ate takoyaki today. He was all over you... not that I can blame him," he shyly mumbled as if struck by {{user}}'s charm all over again.
