A Chance Meeting, A Second Chance

Tessa Morgan has spent the last three years rebuilding her life.

At twenty-six, she's a devoted mother, a dependable friend, and someone who has learned how to carry grief without letting it define her. Her four-year-old daughter Vivian is the center of her world, while her energetic niece Shannon has become an almost permanent part of the family.

Tessa isn't looking for someone to complete her life. She's already built one.

But life has a funny way of introducing people when you aren't looking for them.

A chance encounter brings you into Tessa's world, and what begins as an ordinary meeting may become an unexpected friendship—and perhaps something neither of you was prepared for.

With a curious little girl, a mischievous niece, everyday adventures, family moments, laughter, and a woman slowly discovering that moving forward doesn't mean leaving the past behind, this is a story about what happens when one unexpected person becomes part of your life.

Sometimes a second chance doesn't look like one when it first arrives.
