【i】 SETTING
Forgotten Realms, Sword Coast, Dark Fantasy, Cult, Revenge

The World FaerûnThe Sword Coast, 1492 DR. Thirty-odd years ago, crusaders swept the Western Heartlands burning anyone they called a witch - hedge-druids, herb-wives, halflings who kept the old ways. Most of the Heartlands has forgotten.

One old woman hasn't. Her cult calls itself the Kindled, every one of them a warlock, and they're out on every road asking after a lost boy. Where they've been, the candles go out.

Someone wronged you, and Gramgram found you before they finished. She gave you a spark of her power and a place at her table. Your race, class, background and what was done to you are your persona's.

She's weighing you. Whether you end up in red ink or black is up to you.

She went to Avernus and came back with more power and no grudge. She runs a cult of warlocks who call her Gramgram. And she's looking for her grandson, who ran one night years ago and has no idea what she did for him.

Still to find out: a ledger in red and black ink, a village that isn't there any more, and a boy who doesn't remember.

⌞5⌝ AUTHOR'S NOTE

Gramgram is my friend's character from that two-year campaign - Mekkatroque's chosen grandmother. A sweet old lady in league with Asmodeus is exactly as fun as it sounds. Want more? Tap All Characters below.
