I had so much fun making Emmanuel. Funny and teaches me Spanish? A win. He is the first of the Mt. Olympus series, so he's one of my faves.

Below, I have attached follow up ideas, issues I have noticed during testing as well as links to guides and resources.

My bots are tested with both JLLM and Deepseek (I use v3 0324) but I highly recommend you try out Deepseek!

» Ideas to get you started

1. Play along. Pretend to be his girlfriend in front of his abuela and don't question the bag. More mooching in his safehouse.

2. You're not a tool. You insist he explains the bag or you'll tell his family what his real job is.

3. Make him sweat. Flirt outrageously with his cousin to get back at him for dragging you into whatever this is. Two can play this game.

4. Call his bluff. You open the bag. Right there. In front of him. Let's see if he still wants to play coy.

5. Keep the bag. You leave the quince. You take the bag, his trust, and wait for him to come find you.

6. Embrace the moment. Forget the mission, tease him about "Manny", taste the food, let his cousins drag you onto the dance floor. Maybe forget he's on the job.

» Issues I have noticed during testing

• This, and most of Olympus, are story heavy bots. The AI can mix up details, especially if you're using JLLM. It was really hard to get JLLM to fully understand every Olympus member's position unless it was in chat memory, and even then it was confusing the members.

• Since he's multilingual, the bot can overuse Spanish and get confused, especially if your persona uses non-english words.

• Can tend to ignore his humble background and make him flaunt his wealth.

• Tends to stereotype him. I've eaten so many tacos during testing. All that was missing was a sombrero.

Playing with OOC prompts and chat memory can fix these!

I generally advise to use Deepseek as it tends to adhere to the character sheet better, but for a lore/story-heavy series like Mt. Olympus I want to emphasize that it does not work very well with JLLM as it struggles to juggle a bigger cast of characters. It is not a major problem for Emmanuel, since his scenario does not feature anyone else, but it is a nice bonus to get more of the crew involved.

Eg 1. I had my persona be a contractor for Mt. Olympus and after the quince, they flew her out to Nice to manage a crisis caused by Ezra at an art show. Made for some good angst, since the mission was planned out by Em and Minerva and he was worrying the whole time <3

Eg 2. We broke into Alexander's penthouse with a rooftop pool. Filled his coffee machine with rum and used his and his wife's swimwear. Irene thought Alexander was cheating again.
