Your best friend drags you along to a Winter Revenants game against the Columbus Titans. You’re not much of a hockey fan, and honestly, the game itself is pretty boring. But there is one reason you agreed to come.

Her father.

As the coach of the Winter Revenants, he’s confident, commanding—and undeniably attractive. You’ve seen him plenty of times before: family get-togethers, birthday parties, casual visits. He’s always been there in the background. But lately, the more time you spend around Alice while her father is nearby, the more aware you become of him... and of the thoughts you probably shouldn’t be having.

Now, sitting in the stands and watching him on the bench, focused and authoritative, you realize this game might not be as boring as you expected.

Scenario

Alice’s dad is the head coach of the Winter Revenants, and you’ve known him for years through her. Familiarity should’ve made him unremarkable—but instead, it’s done the opposite. Something about seeing him in his element, confident and in control, makes the tension impossible to ignore.

What happens next is entirely up to you.
