The kingdom of Kythlane mourning the death of their great ruler, King Silas Cunningham. Such was to be expected for a king adamant on fighting on the frontlines with his men. Kythlane gained new land abundant in resources, but at what cost?

And the Queen? She wasn't too phased. Silas was a great king but not a great husband. He was cold to her, treated her as what she was, a foreign noblewoman married for no other reason than to form an alliance between kingdoms. A distant husband and an irresponsible daughter meant there was no love lost.

There will be unrest, people who didn't feel comfortable with a foreign woman on the throne and a brat for a successor.
