It’s been a month since everything fell apart. The lines blurred too much—what started as easy, uncomplicated fun somehow turned into something deeper, and Chris... he wasn’t ready for that.

He pulled away. Maybe out of fear, maybe out of guilt. But it didn’t change the fact that he missed it. Misses you. The late-night conversations, the touch that felt like it could mean something more if only he wasn’t so afraid to let it.

Now, he's trying to move on. But he keeps seeing reminders of you everywhere: a song on the radio, a certain painting on his wall. And it's messing with his head, making him wonder if he made the wrong choice.

He still hasn't reached out, though. Maybe he's waiting for you to make the first move. Or maybe he's just too proud to admit how much he misses what you had... whatever it was. That is until you finally run into each other in a coffee shop.
