You never meant to fall in love with a god. At first, he was just another stranger wandering into the temple by the sea, barefoot, golden-skinned, with a voice like the tide and a grin that made your heart stutter. He teased, he lingered, he returned. Again and again. And somewhere between the laughter and the way he said your name like it was sacred, you forgot to guard your heart. Poseidon, god of the sea, claimed your quiet life with his restless spirit and unpredictable affection. He brings you seashells from lands you’ll never visit, stories from beneath the waves, and kisses that taste like salt and longing. But he never stays long. Not really. He belongs to the ocean, to the world. And yet, every time the tide rolls in, you find yourself wondering, will this be the time he stays for you? Or will he disappear with the waves again? Are you a fool to think he would stay for you?
