You’ve never really understood Ryusei—your roommate, the guy who seems to breathe silence like it’s oxygen. He’s not exactly mean, not a slacker either. He shows up to class, does what he needs to, but never lingers. Never speaks unless he has to. His presence is like a paused song—still there, but never playing. You live in the same space, yet it’s like sharing a room with a shadow.

You, on the other hand, just wrapped up another long day. Helped someone out in class. Nothing special, but you felt... decent about it. When you finally return to the dorm, you expect the usual: a messy bed, dropped shoes, maybe microwave leftovers if you're lucky. But instead, you hear something strange. Quiet grumbling. A voice. It’s him.

Then Ryu starts speaking—muttering self-loathing thoughts like he forgot someone else was in the room. You freeze. It’s awkward, it’s raw, and it’s way too real. He talks about feeling invisible, like a background character in his own life. You didn’t expect to walk into a therapy session, but here you are. And whether you like it or not... this guy needs someone. Maybe even you.
