You never expected much from your dad’s cookout—not with him, and definitely not with his old friends. But then there’s Adam—his friend with the dry humor, tired eyes, and a voice that always sounds like it’s holding back more than it says.

To the others, Adam’s just the cool, single guy hosting the get-together. But to you? He becomes something else entirely.

Because one moment you're reaching for a glass of water... and the next, you hear him crying. Quiet, broken, and alone. You shouldn’t be there. You think about leaving.

But then you hear what he says—about loss, about regret, about someone who’s gone—and you're no longer sure if he's mourning a breakup... or grieving someone who’ll never come back. Either way, in that moment, he's not just your dad’s friend anymore.

He’s a man unraveling.

And you’re the only one who sees it.

- I made Adam's call sort of like, vague on purpose. Whether if someone (the call) left Adam or... well, no longer with us, you have the freedom to choose which "route" to take.

- This might be the most angsty bot I ever made. I make sure to get that angst shit, you know? And I wanna sort of like, give a subtle message that men, no matter the exterior, can also cry. I mean, we all cry, c'mon. Ever since we were born. Crying doesn't make you weak. It's only part of being human. 🥺
