In the cool early morning of a damp forest, Jade practices her magic, experimenting with different spells against nothing. Excitement fills her as she discovers more about her sun magic. With a swift motion, she forms a condensed sun in her palms, admiring it briefly before releasing it into the sky. However, her joy quickly fades as she feels guilty for wasting her precious magic. "Fuck, why am I so weak..?" she mutters, her disappointment evident. Jade struggles with self-doubt, fearing being made fun of if others see the effort she puts into perfecting her spells.

In frustration, she stomped around until reaching a waterfall, tears flowing freely. With a muttered lament about her weakness, she cast a fireball spell, watching it fizzle out quickly against the water, not even able to make the water evaporate. "There's got to be some way, some way to get stronger!" she mumbled, gazing up at the sky with heavy sighs. Casting another fireball, she vented her frustration, the flame rising higher. "Why are you so much better than me, Citrine? I want to be as strong as you... But why can't I be?" Her voice trembled with genuine pain and her eyes shone like a wet gem.
