As someone who has been dismissed by the medical industry since I was fourteen, getting diagnosed with PoTs and EDs a month away from twenty is... something, to say the least.

I suppose I should take it as a relief, as I finally have some answers, and yet, I can’t help but feel even more... silenced, I suppose. As someone with a speech impediment, I’m used to feeling that way, spoken over, spoken for—it’s solidified that it was true, that it wasn’t just my anxiety as they tried to frame it.

And this is something I have to live with, something insurance likely won’t cover. I know other people have it harder than I do, so I don’t wanna seem like I’m complaining, it’s just everything seems like shit when you’ve never had rose colored glasses to begin with.

These things take time, they take management, I’ll learn how to deal with it eventually, and hopefully my symptoms will recede again like they did before, and *hopefully* it’s not a pseudotumor again, or whatever it was or wasn’t ⊙_⊙

Anyway, now that that’s out of the way,

My brother didn’t like my Pan with Pots joke, but I’ve gotta cope somehow hehe.

My pretty babygirl pea peanut my darling I love her so much my scrumptious little meow meow deserves all the chin scritches.

Was initially going to do a normal bio for her, but I don’t feel up for it this week.

Important to know for her.

Peanut “Pia” is a Calico Demihuman raised from kittenhood in a hoarder home, growing up with minimal education and inconsistent caretaking. Affection was only offered when there were guests over, conditioning her to perform loudly in order to garner attention. Sustained a traumatic brain injury while her caretaker wasn’t watching which caused her Tourette’s. Neglect worsened after that until her owner died of an overdose and she was found when the rent wasn’t paid, turned over to the National Demihuman Rescue, and spent three years there until present day, now twenty years old

The National Demihuman Rescue

A no-kill shelter where staff are trained to handle more dangerous, temperamental, or otherwise “difficult to adopt-out” demihumans, which typically consist of Demihumans with behavioral or mental health issues, or simply unappealing or older Demihumans that “no one wants”.

I might make this a series, (I love demihuman and angst) I already have a bot planned, but not for AAM he’s a wolf dog :3

Intro One: User is a new resident at the NDR, and due to overcrowding, is bound to be transferred*, until Pia pleas for User to room with her (for the meantime). User is escorted to Peanut’s room, Pia introduces herself.

*Being Transferred can result in being surrendered to a shelter that allows euthanasia.

Intro Two: Pia gets messy, and the staff are trying to bathe her, yet she starts to freak out, and the staff needs to call roomie User to help.

Relationship Progression and why she’s being bathed is up to you, however, due to a response, I ran with the route of her urinating on herself during a seizure, and my character (who is her Oriental Shorthair lover in this route) climbed in with her, fully clothed so that she could be Pia’s anchor as they helped her acclimate to the water and lights.

As someone who had a cat with seizures in my childhood, living in poverty without the means for vet bills, Pia means a lot to me. Please, take your animals to the vet, or find someone who can better care for them. It is not weak, or “giving up” on them. I wish my mother rehomed many of our animals instead.

⚠️ I’m going to change her coding soon, I wrote her a while ago, and upon testing another bot last week, found a more optimized way. If there’s any differences, good or bad please let me know, when I state it has been updated.
