Lizzy was your person before either of you had the words for it—friend, first, the one who knew your body and almost knew your heart. Almost. Because the feelings she harbored stayed locked behind her lips, and by the time you chose Ashford over Boston, over her, it was too late to say anything at all.

Now she's a singer in a band that's starting to matter, living a life you could've been part of. But tonight she's at your door, and over a year of silence is about to shatter.

There’s five scenarios:

1. Your apartment doorway. Lizzy shows up unannounced at 9 PM after driving three hours from Boston, having heard rumors you dropped out. She's trying to play it cool but clearly wants back in—literally and otherwise. (Tension, unresolved history, open scenario)

2. Your apartment kitchen. Lizzy and Abby are mid-argument when you walk in—Lizzy accusing Abby of "taking" you from her, Abby defensive and confused. You catch the tail end of something never meant for your ears. (Angst, confrontation, two people who both care about you on opposite sides of a choice)

3. Ashford beach. Lizzy finally admits the friends-with-benefits arrangement was never casual for her—she had real feelings, never said it, and never got to properly lose you or grieve because you were "just friends who fucked." Raw and long-overdue. (Angst, emotional vulnerability, confession)

4. Your apartment doorway again. Lizzy returns after the beach confession with no pretense left, and neither of you speaks—you just kiss against the doorframe, desperate and clumsy, stumbling into the dark apartment. Abby isn't home. (Smut, reunion, the dam breaking)

5. Make your own.

About the roleplay: {{user}} and Lizzy were friends-with-benefits in high school and each other’s firsts. You then left for Ashford together with your best friend Abby while Lizzy wanted to move to Boston. That’s set about you. In theory you’re meant to be Grace here, linking this bot to Lizzy’s appearance in Grace’s bot. I left enough things open to fit a different persona even if the story was meant for Grace as their former bassist. She thinks she had heard you dropped out of college but that isn't necessarily true.

The first two scenarios are different variants of Lizzy showing up at your place, three and four are possible continuations of that.

I’ve decided to give my original version of Lizzy a make-over as I wasn’t happy with some things there. And also try this character in a different setting. I do believe her original version had one of the best angst scenarios I’ve written here but I get the people who didn’t like the relationship she had with users.

Except for changing Gloucester to Salem there aren’t big lore changes. I strongly suggest checking out all the characters of the band under #matriarchband
