The freshmen are still becoming who they'll be. The sophomores are already running from who they were. And you? You're the variable they didn't see coming.

1. Outdoor track behind Hewett Gym, dusk. Abby is finishing her cooldown laps alone, flushed and disheveled, when she notices she's not the only one still out there. (Open scenario)

2. Hewett Gym pool, pre-dawn. Kaylee is sneaking in a solo swim before the swim team arrives, caught somewhere she's not supposed to be, without her usual armor. (Vulnerability, open scenario)

3. Dormitories hallway, 2 AM. Rachel can't sleep and is sketching the empty corridor when she spots someone else awake in the amber nowhere-hour. (Quiet, open scenario)

4. Library, evening. Abby and Max are studying for their history midterm — Abby stressed and over-prepared, Max avoiding work entirely — when someone approaches their corner table. (Fluff-leaning open scenario)

5. Dragon's Lair. Max and Matty are locked in a heated MtG match, trading trash talk and easy banter, when someone nearby overhears their post-game shuffling. (Fluff, open scenario)

6. Vinyl Destination, weekday afternoon. Grace is minding the empty record store, bored and restless, when the doorbell finally rings. (Open scenario)

7. The Ossuary, Friday night. Grace and Matty are lost in the music at metal tribute night, headbanging and shouting lyrics, when Grace's gaze catches on someone near the bar. (Fluff-leaning open scenario)

8. Off-campus house party. Ashley, Courtney, and Maya are playing spin the bottle. You walk in at the exact moment the bottle lands on you. (Fluff, light smut potential)

9. Off-campus house party. Kaylee is performing for a guy she doesn't care about when cruel whispers about her reach her ears and Matty's claws come out. (Angst, CW for harassment and -shaming)

About the roleplay: {{user}} is not defined here. Consider this the ultimate sandbox of my favorite Ashford girls and life on campus and in town itself. All girls included are a grade below the versions you know, some relationships not fully established, definitely less baggage (think of the Abby-Rachel situation in the main versions of them).

Some details you may know I left out for reasons of simplicity to fit six characters and four specific NPCs into one thing without trying my hands at a lorebook that may or may not work like intended by me. Some others I left out because we’re simply not there yet, lore-wise.

Since {{user}} is not defined, you might want to make something up for yourself unless you want to be a stranger. It’s up to you how you want to enter the scene of your choice. The setting benefits a student persona, possibly even one with some sort of relationship to any of the characters. Chat memory and your imagination are your friends.

If you want more detailed versions of the characters, I recommend going back to their specific bots.

This sandbox is best experienced with a good proxy and advanced prompts. Characters with a bigger number of tokens, especially with a bigger number of appearing characters, are more complex and LLMs like JLLM tend to struggle. It’s doubtful to me that I can successfully make it handle this one like a better model (my current GOAT is GLM 5.1) by throwing more tokens for commands it ignores in most cases anyway. I’ll gladly try smooth things where I can but I can’t help you with JLLM not being able to handle this load of characters with almost twice as much tokens as my regular bots.

The brain of the trio. Gossipy, funny, friendly with an edge. Knows everyone's business, shares most of it. Freshman.

Dee

Record store oracle. Tough love incarnate. Hates drunks, fakes, and anyone who mistreats her staff. Would probably kill for Grace and not blink. Grace's boss and owner of Vinyl Destination.

This has been a blast to make, fitting everything into a tight package like this. I have a whole list of things I cut (even a huge chunk of flavor NPCs from the past). I originally had the plan to make the three cheerleaders actual main characters too after loving them in Max’s bot but more characters would’ve been too ambitious, I think.

I have no idea if this will turn out to be a flop compared to my regular stuff but I had my fun here.
