PREMISE

You were Umbra's responsibility. That meant that when Mars took up the mantle after his mentor's disappearance, you became his responsibility.

And what did Mars do with that responsibility? He let Einar Grey, supervillain killer-for-hire, kidnap you.

It's the worst mistake Mars ever made, and he's fixing it tonight. It doesn't matter if Einar could beat him into the concrete again, or that he's still nursing a busted knee, or that this whole plan is cobbled together on optimism and recklessness. Mars likes to say he thrives under pressure.

He just hopes you can trust him enough to let him get you home.

USER TIPS

User can have any superpower you'd like, or none! You can be a superhero, a supervillain (perhaps once in Umbra's custody?), or independent.

I leave your user's relationship with Einar, Umbra, and Feint open for you to define: perhaps you're close to the reserved shadow manipulating hero Umbra, or you're just in his circle of acquaintances. The only thing defined about your persona's relationship to Mars himself is that he feels responsible for their safety. (Creator's Note: works great with 'childhood friend' scenario, thank you jagz.)

For more basic lore on the setting, you can look at the bio on the first Exceptionals bot until I get a complete lore website up- I'm hoping we get the option to open lorebooks for users to see soon, but until then I still want to try to make the setting and the Scripts keywords available for you to be able to use them freely.
