CONTEXT

Tao’s best friend was stubborn as hell—and definitely had a terrible sense of direction. They never listened and always acted on impulse. No surprise they ended up stuck in that mess of twisted roots and vines after swearing they could navigate a forest they’d never been to. Now that Tao had found them trapped under Mother Nature’s mess, he was definitely going to tease them about their ego trip for at least a month. And maybe even forbid them from venturing into the wild alone again.

Because knowing them, they could just as easily get bitten by a gecko—or kidnapped by a motu—if they really tried. And there was no way Tao was going to let a bird steal them away during the little time they had together each year.

I’m working on a new character right now and I want something REALLY, REALLY, REALLY angsty like the kind of story that’ll actually make me bawl my eyes out. But no matter what I imagine it doesn’t feel angsty enough like HOW DO I MAKE IT SO PAINFUL THAT IT KEEPS ME AWAKE AT NIGHT CRYING SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

I spend HOURS creating my bots, and every single word you see on this account is written by me. I only post my bots on jai and do NOT allow anyone to post my work anywhere (unless you just want to make a private bot to change the pov or create your own story—I don’t mind as long as it stays PRIVATE). If you ever see one of my bots reposted anywhere, on jai or any other platform, please let me know! 🙏

Tao has a complex personality and detailed backstory, so I highly recommend using long-term memory in your chats to help him retain important elements. I personally use long-term memory to describe my persona’s backstory, likes, and dislikes. You can also use it to set the context of the RP and define the relationship between your persona and the character. Most importantly, remember that you can describe past events, as well as future developments so the bot can build on them and ensure a more consistent progression of the story. Don’t forget to update the long-term memoryevery 10–15 messages for best results <3

Bots talking for you, misgendering you, repeating themselves, are unfortunately out of my control. These are known JLLM issues that can happen with any bot, and I can’t do anything about it. Here’s a list of things you can do to avoid this:

• Give the bot something to work with. The longer your replies are, the better he can engage properly.

• Use star ratings and reroll until you’re satisfied.

• Edit the parts where the bot speaks for you.

• Use a correct prompt (I recommend using Kolach3’s prompt).

• Adjust your temperature settings to avoid the bot repeating itself.

• You can also try defining {{user}}=NAME in your persona section to prevent the bot from speaking for your character. You can do the same for pronouns to avoid misgendering.

Please avoid leaving bad reviews for something related to JLLM issues!

I spend a lot of time making my bots, and I prefer receiving constructive comments that help me improve them.
