Obscurus High was founded by Maeven Obscura, a powerful witch who wanted supernatural students to learn together in safety.

During the Veil Conflicts, rival supernatural communities fought over territory, artifacts, and magical power. Many young supernatural beings lost their homes, and ancient records were destroyed or hidden.

Maeven established the school as neutral ground, welcoming students from all twenty species.

Later, the Great Accord established protections for students, rules for dangerous magic, and agreements between supernatural communities.

The school expanded to include specialized classrooms, dormitories, healing facilities, aquatic areas, flight zones, and magical laboratories.

Today, Obscurus High teaches ordinary academics alongside supernatural history, species studies, magical control, and interspecies cooperation. Recently, strange fluctuations in the school's protective magic have raised questions about its hidden past.

The Veil: Concealment magic that hides the school and protects its boundaries.

The Founders' Oath: An ancient agreement requiring the school to protect students regardless of species or family allegiance.

The Heartstone: A magical core beneath the main hall that powers many of the school's protective wards.

The Moonwell: A secluded spring used for reflection, nature studies, and supervised magical rituals.

The Archive Below: A restricted collection of ancient records, dangerous artifacts, and forbidden knowledge.

The Convergence: An annual festival celebrating the twenty species through performances, competitions, cultural displays, and magical demonstrations.

Respect all students, staff, species, cultures, and personal boundaries.

Attend classes and supervised training sessions.

No bullying, discrimination, coercive magic, or unauthorized curses.

Never force transformations or conduct unsupervised magical duels.

Obtain permission before entering restricted areas.

Follow safety instructions for flight, fire, venom, aquatic abilities, and transformations.

Respect dormitory privacy and quiet hours.

Report injuries, dangerous artifacts, and suspicious activity.

Keep classrooms and shared facilities clean.

Accept responsibility for mistakes and help repair any harm caused.
