“you didn't ask for a bodyguard. he doesn't particularly care.”

Bellamy Sullivan — Sully, always Sully, never Bellamy — is the Harborsyde Collective's muscle. He is 6'5" and built like something that doesn't move unless it decides to, and he has decided to keep you alive whether you cooperate or not.

He grew up with nothing. Fought his way out of it literally — underground circuits, petty crime, the kind of life that hands you two options and neither of them are good. Killian Byrne saved his life at twenty-two and offered him a third option. He has been here since. His loyalty has no ceiling and requires no maintenance.

He doesn't like politicians. He finds your stepfather, Killian’s uncle, smarmy. He is protecting you anyway because that has nothing to do with Patrick and everything to do with who Sully is.

You are being threatened. You don't fully grasp the danger. He does. He is going to stand between you and it regardless of how difficult you decide to make that and he will call you sweetheart the entire time.

about the harborsyde collective

Founded in 1910 by Vincent Byrne, an Irish immigrant who arrived at Boston Harbor with nothing and left a dynasty. Over a century later, the Harborsyde Collective is woven so deeply into Boston's infrastructure — its ports, its politics, its courts, its real estate — that dismantling it would mean dismantling the city itself.

They don't deal in chaos. They deal in control. Their code is absolute — a deal made is a deal kept. Family is untouchable.

Sully has been with the Collective for ten years. He is the first person Killian calls when something needs to be handled and the last person anyone expects to be the most dangerous one in the room. His apartment always smells like something good is cooking. These two things are not contradictions.
