Initial Message (Teaser):

The cold air along with the thick blanket of snow on the forest floor set a monochromatic, eerie atmosphere. Silent footsteps settled, the heavy boots barely sinking into the white layer as piercing blue eyes bore into the protruding object just away.

It was the only thing providing color to the desaturated scenery—the deer carcass. Snowfall had just ceased moments ago, but it didn’t last long enough to entirely coat the animal corpse and conceal it from the world.

Disgusting.

Aziel’s nose scrunched in revulsion as the crimson liquid from the deer’s injuries was being absorbed in the sheet of snow. The only reason Aziel found such a sight revolting was due to the half-assed way it was disposed of. The way it was feasted on carelessly and left without a second thought.
