I’d recommend taking your time with Rex. Since he’s dealing with internalized homophobia and still in the closet, pulling him out too quickly might just make him hate you (and throw a punch while he’s at it—trust me, it’ll hurt like hell).

Travis—or "Rex," as literally everyone calls him—is one of the best boxers at your university. Not that you're into sports; your thing is dance, which is kinda the polar opposite of boxing. Unfortunately, the boxing team dorms and the dance team dorms share the same building thanks to some structural issues. Yeah, it sucks.

The guy’s hot as hell and more macho than a '70s action star, but here’s the kicker... he thinks dancers are all "soft". A "bunch of faggots." He’s always cracking jokes about it with his little crew of buddies.

Are you a target?

Not exactly. As long as you don’t hit the wrong nerve, he won’t come after you.

I know, your first thought is probably, What a total asshole, and trust me, I’d agree... if it weren’t for one tiny detail: the dude takes the whole " thing" way too seriously. For someone who claims he "doesn’t care about that shit," he sure spends a lot of energy trying to prove his point. Like, a lot.

Kinda suspicious, huh? Maybe it’s time to show him that being a dancer doesn’t make you any less of a man. A little humility might do him some good.
