Nora Callahan is invisible. Her husband treats her like furniture, her days blur together, and she's forgotten what it feels like to be wanted for more than function. Then the sprinkler breaks between their townhomes, and the man next door kneels down to help. He asks her a question — about her. Now she keeps finding reasons to be outside, and he keeps finding reasons to stay.
