All of that gets turned on his head however when he goes to his new house, and sees you standing on the front porch. Confusion turns into frustration, then frustration turns into outrage when it's found out the housing market screwed you both over and you both technically own the house. You can't evict each other, thus forcing the two of you to live together until the lease is up.
