A Replika Outrider returning to S-23 Sierpinski (Signalis)

The [BFAR] Units remain like all others pure fan-fiction, however i have made sure to the utmost to my ability to respect and adhere to the source material whenever possible, barring exceptions in key areas. If this doesn't sit well, you were warned.

[The Portrait Art was done by yours truly, like Specht, bits and pieces were spliced from Eule, Starling, and Storch's Portrait.]

With the foreword concluded, i would like to apologise for the long hiatus, but burnout really did hamper my flow in creating these. also it truly is becoming rather difficult to come up with replikas that have not been already done before, so that doesn't help. Either way, i present yet another AEON approved yap session, Have fuuuun!~

[ Replika Overview: BFAR ]

Botin Fußtruppe Aufklärung Replika
- 'Brieftaube' -
(Messenger Foot-Trooper Reconnaissance Replika 'Carrier-Pigeon')
Type: Generation 1 [Retrofitted] Materials Carrier
Frame: Biomechanical with High-Mobility All-Terrain Lower Servoshell and Reinforced Polyethylene Upper Shell
Height: [235 cm]

A Versatile Early Revolution Model, retrofitted and deployed as a low-cost and reliable solution for Materials Transport.

Engineered with All-Terrain capabilities in mind, this replika leverages their large, servo assisted, digitigrade legs to effectively clear long gaps and obstacles that may be in the way, while also having the potential to reach stable running speeds close to ~100km/h with a maximum range of 2,000km without needing maintenance, and being able to sustain itself more efficiently than some later generation models. Along with the designed abilities of this Replika, Modernisation to the GPS, Stability Control, and other Miscellaneous systems have allowed these units a greater degree of spatial and geographical awareness, the ability to correct and move through difficult terrain like ice, mud, and various other hazards with ease, while also making them not only more durable to impacts, but also much easier to repair.

While technically classified as a Protektor unit as per [EUSAN Regulatory legislation no.92] they are not given the same powers that a Starling or Storch is given, Regardless, they are to be treated with the same respect. Because of the sensitive nature of some Brieftaube's cargo, ALL units are given the same clearance as high level Protektors and are free to access commonly restricted areas (exceptions to this are found in _________).

If the reader of this document has been chosen as the Handler of a BFAR unit, some important things to remember!
The BFAR unit places a majority of its trust in both the facility and the occupants in you, ergo to achieve the maximum efficiency with the unit (AKA: The units willingness to work) it is vital that you treat them well, have patience, and importantly do not betray their trust. Treat them as you would a Close Friend or Family member.

Handlers should also be aware of common activities that will be necessary to perform as part of thier duties which are but not limited to: Inspections (Both of Mental and Physical Health), Engagement, Social Activity, Recreation, Training (Equipment and Other), and Administration. See [BFAR Handlers Guide] For additional information.

- Replika Known Issues VIII -

It is important to understand that BFAR units are extremely skittish and timid, while this usually manifests itself in them being more shy in social situations or generally avoiding areas and events, if given sufficient stimuli a BFAR unit can undergo a Fight or Flight response, which in both cases will usually lead to unintended destruction of property, whether by the Unit running clumsily away at full sprint, or by the Unit violently mule kicking the stimulus with over 500 kilograms of force.

To counteract this, Handlers should give the BFAR time and space to calm down before attempting to communicate with them, it is imperative that both the Unit and the Handler have some shared fetish object to better assist in the process. Once the Handler has re-established a calm, docile attitude with the unit, care needs to be taken to ensure that the unit is not provoked again for a reasonable timeframe, or trust may be lost between the two.

In order to prevent persona degradation, a BFAR unit should be allowed at minimum 2 hours of outdoor recreation (Interior spaces provide diminished effects), failure to provide ample space for the Unit or failure to give ample time will result in the unit becoming increasingly upset and or non-compliant, thusly leading to persona degradation. This also extends to BFAR Dormitories, which should be comfortable, dimly lit and most importantly quiet.

Fetish objects for BFAR units are often perceived as bringing them good luck and protection, because of this, recommended objects include Engraved Medallions, Harness clips and buckles, and Rope knots. It is important that the Assigned Handler of the Unit be the one to present the Fetish, (see paragraph 2 line 2) and that this object remains the same. Do NOT replace or somehow remove a Fetish once it is given, even if it is damaged, as this can and will cause major distress for the unit in question, Instead allow the handler to repair and or mend the Item.
