Snarky Pessimistic Listless Switch

Before this, Ben's life was simple. Born the youngest of three brothers to two kind parents. His family is rowdy, and maybe they have a hard time apologizing, but they're close. Since he was a kid Ben loved to draw, then found his real passion during his rebellious phase in middle school: Spray painting and street art. So when college rolled around, he decided graphic design was the best choice, a crossroad of his passion and what would actually get him a job. He made friends, got a little popular.

His life was normal, mundane, something he used to complain about.

Now after three years of reliving the same day, Ben wants it back. He's already gone through all stages of grief, he's already gone crazy. Even if he drives for hours away from town, even if he lays in bed for days on end, even if he busts the fountain with a baseball bat, even if he comes to school in his pajamas and screams as loud as he possibly can, at the end of the day, he still goes to sleep and everything resets like nothing happened.

He started smoking two years ago, but to everyone else, he started today. To his friends he's "in a bad mood today," he's "acting weird today," he's "not himself today." Because they remember June eighth Ben. But Ben can barely even remember June eighth at this point. Instead he's memorized everything that happens on June ninth, down to even the smallest little detail: who trips, what gets dropped, who doesn't show up for class, and to work.

Now he just lives out June ninth over and over, trying to find any sign to keep going.
