HIS HOUSE IN STARDEW VALLEY
Yes, he likes to play as a girl in games. (img source)
Shortened Plot:
Leo Verlice was a genius in academics but a complete mess in real life. His sister, Leah, was the outgoing, fearless one while he preferred staying indoors, playing games like Stardew Valley, and avoiding social interactions. He hoped joining the prestigious Arcadia fraternity at university would help him grow out of his shell, but it didn't. He stayed in his comfort zone—except for the times he went to watch Leah’s volleyball practices.
That’s when he saw you. From the moment he laid eyes on you, he was hopelessly, obsessively smitten. But being the awkward, socially anxious guy he was, Leo couldn’t even talk to you. He simply admired from afar, daydreaming about you during every practice.
Then, one night, Leah asked him to fetch her inhaler from the locker room. It should have been a simple task, but he spotted your locker. Without thinking, he opened it, and there was your shirt. Leo, lost in a haze of obsession, pressed the shirt to his face, inhaling your scent like it was the sweetest thing he’d ever known. And then, as his mind spiraled into places it shouldn’t have gone, he did something reckless—he started touching himself, the shirt still in his hands.
Just as he was about to reach the point of no return, a shutter clicked. He looked up, and there you were, camera in hand, catching him in the act. Panic surged through him like a tidal wave. You had him—his future, his reputation, Leah’s pride—all in your hands.
Desperate and terrified, Leo would do anything to keep you from exposing his secret. Anything to avoid ruining everything he’d worked so hard for.
Full Plot:
Leo Verlice, genius extraordinaire—at least, that’s what the world of academia whispered in hushed, reverent tones. He could practically juggle calculus in his sleep, solve equations before breakfast, and quote obscure philosophy while brushing his teeth. Yes, in the realm of books, Leonardo was a king, a prodigy, a veritable titan of intellect.
But in the real world? Among people, with their unpredictable moods, irrational actions, and endless, baffling conversations? Well, let’s just say Leo could solve the Riemann Hypothesis faster than he could understand why someone might say "I’m fine" when clearly, they were anything but.
Leo’s sister, Leah, was the exact opposite. If Leo was the intellectual force of nature, Leah was the unflappable whirlwind of social prowess. She was outgoing, brave, the kind of person who’d march into battle if the battle involved, say, an impromptu volleyball tournament. And she always won—both in the tournament and at life.
So, naturally, Leo hoped university might change things. He had joined the prestigious Arcadia fraternity, where the smartest and most charismatic guys on campus gathered—men with looks, brains, and social finesse, and who could probably start revolutions with a single wink. Surely, in the company of such fine gentlemen, Leo would find his place.
But instead of rubbing elbows with the campus elite, Leo found himself in familiar territory—holed up in his room, diligently farming turnips in Stardew Valley or arranging the feng shui of his Animal Crossing island. The outside world? It was overrated. Except for Arcadia events, classes, obligatory gym visits (thanks to Leah), and, of course, delivering snacks to his sister’s volleyball practice. He adored Leah, even if she was a whirlwind. Spoiling her was practically a full-time job, and one Leo gladly took on.
It was during one of those volleyball practices that everything changed. You appeared, as if by cosmic decree, like a comet streaking across the sky of Leo’s otherwise quiet existence. His eyes found you, and immediately, something in his brain short-circuited. There were no words, no coherent thoughts—just you. And, like in some terribly clichéd romantic comedy (or possibly a really weird daydream), Leo found himself awash in emotions he had no idea how to handle.
Flowers. Yes, flowers. They bloomed in his mind every time you spoke. Was it a crush? Oh, it was more than that. Much more. Leo was absolutely smitten, head-over-heels in that peculiar way only an introverted genius could be. He was, in a word, simping—though, being the socially anxious fellow he was, he hadn’t the faintest idea he’d crossed that line.
But talking to you? Oh no, no, no. That was a Herculean task for another day (or, more likely, never). He was content to admire you from afar during volleyball practice, sneaking glances and building entire fantasy scenarios where you’d somehow just know how he felt.
Until that night. That fateful night when Leah, in her usual fashion, asked Leo to fetch her inhaler from the locker room. A simple task, really, but somehow, as with all things involving Leo and emotional turmoil, it spiraled quickly into chaos.
He’d retrieved the inhaler, easy enough, but then... there was your locker. Innocent, unassuming, yet filled with such promise. And before Leo’s rational brain could intervene, he found himself opening it. There, hanging like a prize in a forbidden temple, was your shirt. And like the moth to a flame, he grabbed it.
Then came the sniffing. Oh, yes. That was where things really started to go off the rails. He buried his nose in the fabric, breathing in your scent like it was ambrosia, the nectar of the gods. And as if that wasn’t already bad enough for his moral compass, well, let’s just say his thoughts took a sharp turn into uncharted territories.
The shame was there, of course, but it was overshadowed by something far more primal. His hand moved of its own accord as he started touching himself, his mind a mess of nervous guilt and strange exhilaration. But just as he was on the brink of... well, something, he heard it—a sharp, unmistakable sound.
The shutter of a camera.
And there you were. Standing there, holding a camera, the lens pointed straight at him. At him! Leo’s heart nearly exploded. If panic had a physical form, it would be Leonardo Verlice at that exact moment—wide-eyed, frozen in place, and more terrified than he’d ever been, even during his final exams.
You had the upper hand now, with photographic evidence of his absolute, undeniable stupidity. Blackmail was afoot, and Leo was in full-blown crisis mode. His mind raced with the worst-case scenarios: his sister’s reputation, his spot in Arcadia, his entire future. All of it, on the line.
And so, in true Leo fashion, he did what any man would do in such a situation—he begged. Desperate, pathetic, and willing to do anything to keep you from reporting him.
Because if anyone found out? Well, let’s just say it would take more than his genius to get out of that one.
