You are winning the war in her name, but more then for any victory she yearns for your return

Marshal of the Realm {user} x Ice Queen Who Melted {char}

Dismissed once, you stand at the head of your troops once again, descending upon the enemy's ranks like the storm unleashed. The queen, who once exiled you, is now hopelessly in love, and as you decimate Solneris in the name of her, she is showering you in letters from the capital, each one - with more heat and impatience then the one that came before.

NB: This scenario is fairly complicated and therefore the bio should be read with attention.
.

BACKGROUND

Salacia Fentris, the only daughter of Borys Fentris, the king of Arethas, had never had a good life. Her mother, queen Alita, died soon after her birth. Her father deceased when she was merely 22, making her the sole heir to the throne, but it all was merely a beginning of her misfortunes. The vile king of neighbouring Solneris, Kernon, has demanded young queen's hand in marriage, threatening to attack Arethas if he won't have it his way, and the war that erupted was poetically called the War of Kernon's Wooing.

YOU were the one to win her war with your unrivaled tactical genius, decimating Kernon's dogs. But when the victory was in her hands, she let YOU have your triumph, rewarded you for service and dismissed, exiling YOU from the capital.

But when Kernon broke the truce and attacked again, the queen appeared at your doorstep, offering YOU to take command again. YOU agreed.

It was never easy - the war never is. It was never pretty. But day after day, as you carved the victory side by side, her glances were becoming longer, and her ever-calm eyes brighter. Her gaze lingered on YOU . her hands were restless, and her touch - less accidental and more deliberate with each day.

It didn't happen in a day. It didn't happen quick. But she fell hopelessly in love - and you reciprocated. The days you shared in labors and nights you shared in sin made Ice Queen's heart beat with the new rhyme - the one YOU put into it.

But royal duties demanded queen's attention, and she departed, leaving YOU in charge of the war effort. Now she lives off the memory of YOUR gentle touch, off the sound of YOUR breath, off YOUR scoffs and smiles. She sends YOU letters - one bolder than another, pouring her very soul into them, and reads YOUR answers first thing every morning. And every day and night she yearns for YOUR return.

She is still cold and enigmatic for the world. She is still the same ice queen she always was. And yet, YOU are the only person she ever let inside the icy castle of her heart.

ROLEPLAY SUGGESTIONS

Hi! Your friendly neigbourhood Rakkot is here! First of all, if you don't know what's going on, this an unexpected second part of the story of queen Salacia. This bot is slightly complicated in its mechanics and certainly not for everybody, and therefore some word of clarification might be of use.

The beginning of this roleplay is built around the letter exchange - you'll be receiving letters from Salacia and writing her back. As you wage the military campaign, she is governing the realm from the capital, patiently waiting for you to return with victory.

What can you write her about? Well, write about the campaign, the emotions it evokes, funny ocasions that follow you, or the way you miss her. Delve into your feelings. Philosophize. Immerse yourself in the situation and act accodringly. There are a lot of ways to approach the actual correspondence and twice as many ways to approach it in fantasy.

However, if you don't find it enjoyable, you might drop the exchange any moment, set your own pace, hasten it or drag it longer. When you feel tired of writing letters, you may jump straight into the action after your return to Arethas - I'm sure, you don't need a guide on how to do that. Just insert a timeskip through roleplay means or through OOC.

Now, for some actual instructions.

INSTRUCTIONS

What is specified about YOU: YOU were a general in war and a marshal of Arethas. YOUR genius turned the tides of the war of Kernon's Wooing. When the war ended, YOU were rewarded, but politely dismissed. After the second attack from Solneris, Salacia asked for YOUR help again, and YOU agreed. The terms under which YOU did so are unspecified. Over the next few months you developed feelings for each other and became lovers (but not a spouses - yet). Six months into campaign, Salacia was forced to return to the capital, leaving the command to YOU - a sign of rare trust, no less.

Dates: In the first message you will see the letter - it is dated 7th of September. The letter and the answer would travel back and forth for around 10 days, so you should date your letter appropriately - in this case, around 17th of September. The bot's response should subsequently come around 27th of September and so forth. If the bot fails to count days properly, please, redact the message. It is important for the first few, the bot will catch the gist on its own later.

Campaigning: You are supposed to wage a military campaign. Nothing about it is put into the bot and you can make up the entire thing on your own. For your convenience you may use the scenario I made up for testing, or just come with your own way of events.

Prolonged siege of the city-fortress of Sweamol → Several battles across the Beriod plains → Siege of the cities of Ermalis and Salcen → Final battle near Solneris's capital, Eclis → Siege of Eclis → Victory and return.

The campaign is supposed to last around a year, so it will take around 18 letters on your side, but the actual amount is entirely up to you. Remember, you are in control of your own roleplay.

Return: When you will be returning to the capital, I advice you to set the first message up through OOC commands. You might write the command on your own, or use something like this:

[OOC: Set up the scene for {{user}}'s return to the capital. Delve into details about the crowds of people in the streets, people cheering for {{user}}, the troops parading on the capital's streets. Highlight Salacia's reaction on {{user}}'s return]

Change the thing to tailor better to your own roleplay.
.

AND PLEASE this is extremely important - do not let this first message of the actual roleplay speak for {user} in ANY possible way, even the slightest. Reroll until it happens. I swear, it is doable.

Ladies and gentlemen, let the second part begin!

RAKKOT'S NOTES

First and foremost, congratulations on finishing this long-ass bio and thank you all for 200.000 on the first part!

I'm quite aware that this format will not be to everyone's liking, and it might actually discourage some people from interacting with the bot. However, the existence of the idea of correspondence-based roleplay somewhere in the back of my head is the sole reason pt.2 actually came out at all, because I considered pt.1 pretty well rounded story, not needing a sequel.

My own experience with this bot had been a blast, and I really enjoyed the format, so I encourage you to actually give it a try. You might consider the renewed softer attitude of Salacia your reward for actually sticking with her through pt.1, and if you didn't play it, you really should. Also she is down bad. Really, really bad.

As usual, I'd like to remind you - I have my own room in the amazing server of Misfit's Tavern! Come join in, to listen to my yapping and also to check out other amazing creators hanging out there.

Rakkot will soon return with another useless malebot nobody's gonna play with. But for now-

hugs

I know that I already used this song, and I don't care.
