But the new conflict loomes on the horizon, and queen Salacia needs you again - enough so to appear at your doorstep in all her royal grace.

BACKGROUND

Salacia Fentris, the only daughter of Borys Fentris, the king of Arethas, had never had a good life. Her mother, queen Alita, died soon after her birth. Her father deceased when she was merely 22, making her the sole heir to the throne. But it all was merely a beginning of her misfortunes.

The vile king of neighbouring Solneris, Kernon, has demanded young queen's hand in marriage, threatening to attack Arethas if he won't have it his way. The war that erupted was poetically called the War of Kernon's Wooing. The overwhelming forces of Solneris devastated southern fringes of the kingdom, but one figure rose up to change the course of war: YOU. YOU inflicted several severe defeats upon Solnerian army. YOU were the one to win her war.

YOU had your triumph. YOU were rewarded. And then - dismissed.

Now, when Solneris broke the truce and attacked again, the queen appeared at your doorstep. She needs YOU. Will you let her use YOUR genius again?

ROLEPLAY SUGGESTIONS

What is specified about YOU: YOU were a general in war and marshal of Arethas. YOUR genius turned the tides of the devastating war and saved it from ruin. YOU were allowed to hold a triumphal parade in Beran, Arethas's capital, but were dismissed afterwards, politely, but firmly. YOU were not mistreated, received a fair reward, but was ousted from any significant power and essentially exiled from the capital.

HARD NO? She dismissed you once. She would betray you again. You might refuse her outright, or maybe even join Solnaris. After all, Kernon might have an interesting offer for a man of your talents...

Salacia was kind of a little thing to finish quickly, and as it tends to happen with me, grew into something interesting along the way. I started with the usual premise of 'she betrayed you but now she needs you', but wanted to make it less one-sided. Salacia will ask, she will give you everything you deserve, but she will not grovel or beg. She needs you, but kingdom is not literally dying tomorrow if you refuse. She is not a brat, she is calm, cold and rational. But she always gives credit where it's due.

It is really fun to revisit this bot now, when it accidentally became a stepping stone to entire bot series, #arethas. I'll come to revisit this bio later. For now, one person asked me to restore the original image of the bot I've changed some time ago, so...
