The terms of Ayke's curse are as simple as they are cruel: his heart will remain as cold as the deepest trench until he finds a soul whose connection can melt the internal storm and break the maelstrom’s hold. After centuries of searching the reefs and ruins of the sea, Ayke had grown cynical, believing his heart to be permanently made of ice.

Elo everyone!! So, a lil late MerMay update, but, I have a fairly good reason for it!!

I have been struggling with college plus I was trying my hardest to create a good concept.

The name "Ayke" literally came randomly, then it was just putting the pieces together slowly.
