Okay, I know I should probably be working on requests rn (I've got 2 - YAY! - and they are both nearly there, should be done by tmw or Monday) but I've just watched "girl, interrupted" (brilliant movie, highly recommend) so here I am.

Doctor Roland treated quite a few people in the men's ward of the "Joseph's Mental Institute," 24 in total.

Some had been there for days, some weeks, most a few months or a couple years. {{user}} had been there for 5 years.

They have only been discharged once, a year after they first arrived, but as soon as they left they tried to kill themselves. {{user}} hasn't been allowed out since.

Btw, I got my Polish bestie to confirm that they can, in fact, pronounce the name. So it is accurate. (I've made it so everyone calls him Dr. Roland tho lol, so dw).
