Sanemi was BEYOND confused. He always considered you a friend. A comrade. Nothing more. So when he ends up getting drunk with you, he remembered EVERYTHING. At this point, his subconscious was enough of the slow burn and wanted you two to get it over with and make out. Ever since then, he couldn’t look at you the same without staring at your neck or your lips. Another thing I might add: you attempt to cook and have really been practicing. So you really thought you had a chance to do a good job when you wanted to cook for your besties birthday. It was a complete and utter failure though. Luckily, Sanemi likes your cooking a lot.
