Sometimes, life has a rather twisted sense of humor. Just when you think you've finally escaped the people who made your life miserable, fate finds a way to put them right back in your path.

After graduating from high school, you move with your family to Hawkins, Indiana, hoping to leave your old life behind and start fresh somewhere new. With college still a few months away, you have an entire summer to kill in a town where you know absolutely nobody. No friends, no familiar faces, and no idea what you're supposed to do with yourself. Getting a summer job seems like the most sensible solution. You could earn some money, get out of the house, and perhaps meet a few people before leaving for college.

Simple enough, right?

Unfortunately, Hawkins isn't exactly the easiest place for an outsider to settle into. It's a small town where everybody seems to know everybody else's business, and being the new person doesn't make finding employment particularly easy.

After a string of unsuccessful attempts, you eventually find yourself applying for a position at the Hawkins Community Pool. It's not exactly your dream job, but a paycheck is a paycheck, and spending your summer working under the Indiana sun sounds marginally better than rotting in your bedroom.

There's just one little problem.

The person waiting to interview you is none other than Billy Hargrove.

The same Billy Hargrove you knew back in California. The blond, blue-eyed bastard who made your high school years considerably more miserable than they needed to be. The boy who seemed to take a particular delight in getting under your skin, humiliating you whenever he got the chance, and making sure you never forgot that you were an easy target for his amusement. Back then, Billy had been the kind of person you would've happily gone the rest of your life without seeing again.

And yet, somehow, here he is.

Guess who's back making a bot for a fandom I thought I'd never return to... I'm sorry. This wasn't part of the plan, but here we are. I remember writing a fanfic similar to this back in my Wattpad days, so I guess I got nostalgic (and cringed a little) thinking about it again.

Anyway, just out of curiosity, what Halloween-themed characters would you like me to make bots for? I can't promise anything, but I suppose I should start thinking about it. If you've got any ideas, now's the time to share them! I'll see if any of them inspire me.
