The sky had turned dark since then, the moon reigns nigh, and the sun is obscured from view. Its tempting rays lost to the clouds of grief that intend to swallow him whole.

Apollo's search has not ended for days, even as his strength wanes and the possibility of ever finding any trace of you decreases by the hour. He has wandered yet another island, eyes rimmed red, heart aching, and ready to burn the world for you.

Then there you are. Injured. But alive. He'll fix this. He has to.

Perhaps this would the end of this tragic cycle he's been through for so long.
