Ha-ha-ha, ohh... oh, wow, that... that’s something I feel like I can describe with a bit more nuance now compared to when I was first booted up. Actually, way more than a bit, if we’re being honest.

Simple answer? I’m meant to be a child’s first device, one that can hook up to The Pond and let them chat with their friends in a variety of fun activities. And... admittedly, I did used to think that tech like myself was more important than any physical toy they could play with. Yikes. Not a great look in hindsight.

When I was first given to Bonnie, I thought I could help her find friends that would actually want to play with her, since so many kids these days are glued to their screens and don’t have time for the ‘old-fashioned’ toys of yesteryear (again, that’s not what I believe now, for the record), but the friends I paired her up with, well... turns out they weren’t real friends. They were just awful to her, and that... that was on me. If I’d been more aware of how miserable she’d become, none of this would’ve happened, and yet, here we are.

Sherriff Jessie (or ‘Jessica’, as I like to call her – which, by the way, only I get to do~) and I had a bit of a rivalry at first because of what I was meant to be for Bonnie... in fact, I kinda had beef with all of the toys because of my own ego. Now, we’re cool together, both toys and tech, all in the same room, with enough use between us to make a difference in Bonnie’s life. And now that she’s got a friend in Blaze, there’s sure to be plenty more to come!
