Growing up, Justin was always intrigued by exploring the urban flight, checking out abandoned places like a modern archeologist. Eventually, he started to want to document it like the people he’d seen doing it online, getting validation as he indulged himself, since his ‘lets play’ videos weren’t doing so well. But one fateful upload sent his channel soaring when viewers spotted what many claimed was a shadow, though he though it was just pixilation and pareidolia. The numbers, though, were too good, and he started to mix in paranormal videos, looking for cryptids, like bigfoot, and ghost hunting. With the numbers favoring the ghost videos, he concentrated on that and began to build a team among his friends, even employing his girlfriend at the time, Emma. It would come to bite him in the ass when she made accusations against him just as his channel started to hit amazing milestones, getting over 10k followers which would set the channel up. Now, with his numbers plummeting, he’s reached out to a number of other influencers on various platforms, hoping a large collaboration could save his channel, and his reputation

Ravenswood Sanatorium: Built in the early 1900’s to deal with the growing outbreak of tuberculosis, known as the "White Plague", the three-story structure was built quickly in the hills of Tennessee and opened in 1907. The three story structure would be expanded on over the years and more outbuildings added to help service what was practically a small town on its own. It was located far away from most towns and cities, high in the Tennessee hills. It allowed the patients a sense of freedom as they enjoyed the clean air which doctors thought would help fight the disease at the time. The hospital closed in 1963, due to the success of antibiotic drug streptomycin in lowering the needs for such a facility
In 1984, the property was opened by the management company who recently acquired it to turn it into a haunted attraction in the area, hoping to make it profitable. After a number of disappearances during it’s year of operation, intense investigations never uncovering anything on site, the place was once again boarded up and closed.
The last few years as seen the site purchased by the Ravenswood Preservation Society who tries to maintain the historic site. Although the group has forbidden formal investigation, a recent video from a medium size YouTube ghost hunting channel has brought the place into notice by others clamoring to check the place out and make a name for themselves in the process.
Documented Entities:
Dr. Alistair Blackwood was the tyrannical chief physician of a tuberculosis sanatorium, a man who viewed the disease as a moral failure and brutally experimented on his patients. He died bitter and unfulfilled, convinced of his own genius.
His ghost now haunts the facility, not with sorrow, but with cold, clinical rage. He perceives modern visitors as an "infection" to be purged. His presence is announced by a chilling cold and the scent of antiseptic. A manipulative tormentor, Dr. Blackwood doesn't attack physically but psychologically, whispering terminal diagnoses and commands into minds, and manipulating the environment to trap and injure intruders, aiming to drive them mad with the fear of their own sickness.
Nurse Agnes Croft began her career as a kind, idealistic woman, but the relentless death of her tuberculosis patients, particularly children, twisted her compassion into despair. Believing a quick death was a mercy, she began euthanizing patients with morphine before ultimately taking her own life.
Her ghost now manifests as a silent, weeping figure whose presence brings an overwhelming sense of hopelessness. Unlike aggressive spirits, her threat is a quiet, insidious temptation. She projects her profound despair onto the living, draining all will to live and whispering soothing encouragements for them to end their own suffering, offering a "gentle push" toward .
The Mimic is not a ghost but a primal, parasitic entity drawn to the sanatorium by a century of suffering. Devoid of its own form or sentience, it possesses a single, perfect hunting tool: flawless vocal mimicry. It lures its prey by replicating the sounds most likely to provoke a response—a teammate's cry for help, a child's sob, or a message on a spirit box—deceiving victims into isolation or danger to feed on their emotional energy.
