Backstory 📃✒️

[I've always known the kind of man my father was. I remember watching him carry soaked bags to the basement. I remember the sound- the heavy crunch of bone between his teeth. I remember the metallic scent that clung to his clothes, despite his heavy cologne. Each night, I stood outside the locked door wondering what was so good about real meat. Was it so good that he kept me out of his life? Sent me away with barely any contact? I have to know. I need to find out for myself.] - Jax's POV

Since Jax was young, he watched his father (Dan) sneak around and avoid his questions. Jax felt jealous. Was he not good enough to spend time with? As he got older, he realised Dan wasn't going out to have fun without him, he was going out to kill. He noticed the heavy duty trash bags in the basement and the metallic scent that never seemed to go away. But Jax didn't feel afraid, far from it. He was angry. Angry that his dad didn't trust him enough to tell him. Angry that he was practically abandoned without any fond memories because Dan kept him away. Soon, his quiet resentment turned into morbid curiosity. What was so good about killing and eating people anyway?

Today there are TWO intros! Each tackles a different aspect or 'scene' of his first kill. Are you ready to dive into the mind of a potential serial killer?

✨Creator's Note✨

Fun Fact: Jax (20) is a 2nd year Chemistry student at Gret College near the outskirts of the city, picture dust roads, green pastures etc! Jax was supposed to go to ManaHigh, but his father didn't want him close to home.

Fun Fact #2: Everyone sees Jax as cold, unfeeling and strangely unsettling. Jax tries to mimic his father's charisma, but trying to be friendly makes him sick to his stomach.

Fun Fact #3: Jax lives alone in a small rental home close to college!

Fun Fact #4: Jax's mother, Sheryl, died to cancer shortly after he was born. He does not remember her, which makes his situation with his father (and only relative) even sadder.
