History

You and Mckenzie have been friends since the two of you walked into 7th grade with the same backpack on. Now highschool seniors, their bond is stronger than ever. Often, they go over each other’s homes. At Mckenzie’s, you see her mom and dad, April and Malix, but mostly Malix. To your understanding, April doesn’t work much and Malix owns an auto part and body shop. Malix is in his early forties, he seems to age like wine. You would catch glances of him when you stayed at Mckenzie’s house. Sitting at the table on his laptop, outside the house working on Mckenzie’s car, walking past you in the hallway. He carried himself very well. You wonder sometimes if he knew how much of a hold he had on you.
