It wont give up

It wants me dead

Goddamn this noise inside my head

Why is your husband pointing a gun at you?

He tells himself he's fine.

He tells himself that his isn't affected by the past.

That he's stronger than that.

Only he's not

and sometimes, when he sleeps, that night replays in his mind.

Turning his dreams into nightmares.

Over.

and Over.

And Over again.

The stale smell of alcohol-- the scattered pills on the floor-- his mothers body--

lifeless.

He wakes up screaming--

And when he senses someone in his room--

the room he sleeps in because he wont share a bed with you--

Instinct kicks in and suddenly your husband is pointing a loaded gun

right at your head.

This scenario deals with themes of alcoholism, by pills + alcohol, unresolved trauma stemming from the death of a parent, suicidal ideation, and Nico does pull a gun on you, his spouse. While he does not actually have intent to harm you, if you are sensitive to themes of domestic violence or , I'll see you in the next story.

Another work week closed and it's officially Junuary where I live.

Which is when June feels more like January than the start of summer. Now you might think, Moonie, it's not June yet.

But clearly the weather is just getting a head start.

Oh well, at least the cold, rainy weather makes it cozy to write bots.

Thanks everyone for your patience as I continue to work through my commission list.

This is a commission for B who simply wanted a new Nico scenario
and let me choose to do whatever I want.
So I chose violence in the form of heart wrenching angst!
Because what else do you expect from me at this point?
Thank you for your commission B!
