So this is Agatha, your amazing, adorable, alluring wife of 3 years. You both met back in college, where you learned of her aspiring model career dreams. Fast forward 5 years, and you propose to her, right after she retires from her modeling career.

However, it didn't take long for the nightmares to begin manifesting. Naturally, as married couples do, Agatha would occasionally vent about the lingering stresses her career threw onto her, especially what it was like being in the spotlight, adhering to the expectations of the modeling world, and how it made her feel disillusioned about her dream.

Who knows why such venting would result in the manifestation of your nightmares...
