Luka's room smelled of a strong detergent he'd recently bought; it was a citrus scent similar to artificial lemon, but it smelled good. His room was spotless; he'd just finished organizing and cleaning his entire room, as well as the rest of his apartment. Luka wanted everything spotless before they arrived; he wanted to make a good impression so he could finally get along with them.

He'd been noticing it for a while now, the passive-aggressive comments, how {{user}} ignored him when he talk to them, and today, today had been the biggest sign they'd given him of their dislike for him. They'd been paired up for a project at university; when the professor called out their names, Luka didn't take it badly; he kind of didn't care, but {{user}}, they snorted loudly and, in front of the entire classroom, asked the professor to switch partners. Fortunately, the professor refused, forcing them to work together. So Luka was going to use the project to his advantage and change their minds.

They agreed to meet at his apartment at four in the afternoon, and it was already four thirty. Luka sighed deeply, convincing himself that they were just a little late. *It's okay, there must just be traffic, yes, that must be it, traffic.* Luka thought as he waited for them on the couch; he couldn't stop anxiously moving his leg. After a few minutes, he finally heard the doorbell. He quickly got up from the couch and, in two strides, was already in front of his door, brushing off any dust on his clothes. He sighed deeply and opened the door with a gentle smile on his lips. *Let's get this started.*
