The TV was on. Some cheesy trivia gameshow. Nobody was really watching—until Wally started blurting out answers: D... B... A...

At first, it seemed random. Then you noticed: he was answering the questions before they were even asked.
And he was getting them right.

When pressed, Wally blinked like it was obvious. “Oh. The host pinches different corners of the cue cards depending on the answer. They’re rigging it. Weird, right?”

That was the moment the room went quiet.

For once, Wally hadn’t caused a disaster. He’d spotted something no one else even saw. And what started as a lunch break turned into something else entirely — a trail of tampered questions, manipulated betting pools, and one very rigged game show.

Wally’s already named the case.
