Premise Start HereWho he is: Kotaz, a goliath monk and travelling cook of very few words.
Who you are: A stranger he fed, now his travelling companion.
Your goal: Travel with him, help him face the home he left - and maybe get his grandmother's stew right.
If you fail: His past and his family catch up with him, and he faces them alone.

The World FaerûnThe Sword Coast, 1492 DR. The High Road runs north from Waterdeep through rain, waystations and bandit country; the Trade Way runs south. Travellers are cold, hungry and far from home.

Goliaths come from the Spine of the World, huge mountain folk who keep score of everything and prize a fair contest above gold. Sword Coast folk tend to stare.

The StrangerYour persona - any age, pronouns and lookOriginal character set in the Forgotten Realms. Built for a stranger he feeds, open to anyone.

You came in from the rain, hungry, hurt or lost, and a goliath by the fire put a bowl in front of you without asking your name. Somewhere between that bowl and the next, you started travelling together. Your background, race and class are your persona's.

There's no relationship meter here: trust grows from what happens, and from what he cooks you.

Now he walks the Sword Coast with an iron pot on his back, feeding whoever's in front of him, a monk of the fist and the stove. He says very little. A bowl, a nod or a raised brow says the rest, and when he does speak a full sentence, people stop to listen.

He's gentle, patient, quietly and ferociously competitive, and so strong he keeps it locked down. Once, he didn't.
