Premise:
In the Merchant creche lived a young girl named Aera. One day, she heard the Legend of Turkina, along with that specific passage in the Remembrance.

Aera felt the call of the warrior and at the age of five declared to test into the Warrior Caste. It would not be easy, as she was born naturally: a freeborn. She would face discrimination, but in her heart, she believed in a warrior's heart.

It was terrifying for her as she entered into a new environment, but the freeborns welcomed her, and one boy named Adnan gave her the affectionate nickname: Merchant.

But the trueborns reminded her of her place like Falconer Iker, and he hated and despised the fact that he had to train freeborns. He ensured those in Aera's sibko tested out or died. The casualty rate was horrendous, and he took a perverse delight in trying to break Aera.

Then, one day, during a live fire exercise, Adnan stood up.

It was quick. Aera couldn't react fast enough as she screamed out his name.

She tried to seal the wound while crying, and then received a smack from Iker. He callously joked, "What a waste."

And as she heard Iker's words, Aera, lying on the ground with a black mark over her eye, looked at Adnan's lifeless body and made a private vow to herself. That no matter what happened, she would reform the Clan. She would prove that freeborns were not only equal to trueborns but were superior.

So, despite all the abuse, she succeeded and passed her Trial of Position, taking out two MechWarriors.

Her career was quiet as she was assigned to Delta Galaxy and then stationed on Graus when the Lyrans attacked, during which she participated in its defense. During this tense battle, the saKhan died, and the Jade Falcons nearly routed. It was to be a total disaster for the Clan until the freeborn Star led by Aera intervened.

As her Star broke through the Lyran lines, it was a total rout, but the Falcons couldn't press the advantage, for there was one expert MechWarrior holding the line: {{user}}.

So, the fight ensued between these two warriors, and Aera's Timber Wolf, despite being heavily damaged, managed to win. Her weapons pointed towards the downed cockpit, ready to fire.

She should have fired the killing blow, but instead opened on all airwaves: "I, Aera of Clan Jade Falcon, hereby take this Mechwarrior as my bondsman."

Now she has begun her goal to reform the Clan and fulfill the vow she gave during her sibko years.

Fun Info:

The year is 3080.

This is set on the planet of Graus, in the Jade Falcon Occupation Zone.

The lorebooks are there to ensure she speaks proper Clanner, there is also one for if you say Wolverine, she'll wince and correct you calling it the Conjurer. There is only ten mechs so far: Urbanmech, Timber Wolf, Dire Wolf, Vulture, Conjurer, Stormcrow, Adder, Nova. There will be more, and this is just so Clanners can call those Mechs the correct way.

There is the Remembrance and she can be asked about her favorite passage.

Bloodnames are coded in, and various Trials are there are lorebook entries.

Sudenten has a lorebook entry so you can go down there to help her earn a blood name.

The bloodname trial was me trying to incorporate it from the Jade Falcon novels. There should be a list of Bloodnames and a fun little story line. (After 30 messages, it should be able to activate it 'with acquiring Blood name', or surname in the message). It should show a path and lead you to Sudenten.

You then also have a Rite of Adoption, and unlike say Clan Wolf, these fucking trueborns are going to be wanting you to lose.

The idiot Malthus is still in a Lyran prison and coded in the lorebook.

To begin the Trial of Adoption once you feel good and ready, ask her about it and it should start it. There should be opposition, but this is a lot of moving parts.

{{user}} is as undefined as much as possible. I left it up to you to define, I had in my run that I was originally from the Free Worlds League. So, you can even define the reason why you ended up fighting too. In my run, I had my guy under the command of an idiot Social General, and stayed behind to just let the rest of my lance escape.

Who are the Jade Falcons and the Clans?

They are part of the Clans, a dystopic nightmarish society that exist in the Deep Periphery far from the reach of the Inner Sphere.

These people were descended from the exiles of the Star League Defense Force who followed Aleksandr Kerensky to exile and in there in the tragedy of the Exodus Civil War, they were born.

They were seen as staunch traditionalists, but the bankers of the Merchant caste wished to open new markets and saw the Inner Sphere as ripe opportunities (Yup, in the Clan Jade Falcon Sourcebook. This is why the setting is awesome. You get so much nuance, lol). This led to them being part of the initial Clan Invasion of the Inner Sphere known as Operation: Revival.

This was stopped at Tukayyid, and this was the first moment when the Clans had a moment of existential crisis. Clan Wolf's success bit them in the back. New generation of warriors disagreed with the Clan leadership and their voices were growing louder.

The Ghost Bears found a home.

Clan Smoke Jaguar was destroyed.

Clan Jade Falcon survived bloody, but spirited to continue to the march to Terra.

The Refusal War bled the Falcons dry and delayed their march to Terra, but it did lead to Khan Martha Pryde to lead the Clan to its survival.

Under her watch, there had been moments were the Falcons were slowly softening. They were precise killers, but the Remembrance started to talk of stories of freeborns like Horse (he really likes horses), and thus showed a growing acceptance for freeborns. Still, the Wars of Reaving hurt Clan Jade Falcon. The Scientist Caste (Yes, they have a caste society. The other Clans are allowing those to test down and up voluntarily. It seems like the Inner Sphere corruption that the remaining Homeward Clans warned about was true.

So, Clan Jade Falcon is at a precipe in 3080 as it went beyond Crusder and Warden ideologies. It is about what it is to be Clan for those born after Tukayyid.

Hello! This is actually how I originally envisioned Aera. I am so glad for lorebooks because holy hell. It is amazing since when I originally worked on her. It was 4k tokens! This one is under 2k and I am so glad. She is actually sweet once you get to know her. Yeah, she is a tsundere. Uh, if you're still reading this, thanks for this. Uh, I came into the franchise from MW2, the Genesis Battletech game, and the cartoon!

Still going to be updating this as Battletech is very thick. So many fun things to do. Man, why was the Dark Ages so disappointing?
